Municipal public order service

The employees of the City Public Order Office are on duty for you every day. Whether in the public order field service, in the traffic field service or in the Joint Contact Point Bonn City Center (GABI).

The demands on the municipal public order service are constantly growing.

The municipal public order service is constantly developing both technically and organizationally in order to meet the changing operational conditions. In addition to an operations control center equipped with the latest technology, all employees have personal radios, bodycams and other modern equipment as well as electric vehicles.

Every year, around 90,000 calls are received by the operations control center, resulting in up to 30,000 deployments. The municipal public order service is not only called upon on a daily basis to prevent threats to public safety and order. At major events such as Rhine in Flames, carnival parades, the Bonn Marathon or Pützchens Markt, the public order service is also present with a large number of personnel to support the smooth running of the events from the municipal side.

The municipal public order service is technically and organizationally capable of reacting to developments at short notice and ensuring the necessary prevention of threats to public safety and order.
