Discounts of 50 percent are granted on the tariffs in section 1.1:

• Holders of NRW volunteer cards
• Holders of the Bonn Regio Welcome Card

• Pupils
• students
• trainees
• Military service within the meaning of the Conscription Act
• Volunteers within the meaning of the Federal Volunteer Service
• Helpers in the Voluntary Social Year or Voluntary Ecological Year
• Severely disabled people within the meaning of the Severely Disabled Persons Act
• Holders of Bonn ID cards

Groups on the basis of a council resolution

Members of social groups to be determined by the Council are granted a discount of 20 percent on tariff no. 1.1. The prerequisite for claiming the discount is the presentation of the membership card of the entitled group.

Free admission is granted to

• Children and young people up to and including the age of 18
• Pupils in classes or courses at private and public schools, including teachers and accompanying persons
• Teachers and accompanying persons for the preparation and implementation of visits by children and young people in classes or courses at private and public schools or in supervised groups of private and public child and youth welfare services or from clubs and associations after consultation with the art museum's visitors' office
• Participants in educational and outreach programs for people with dementia, including accompanying persons
• Accompanying persons of severely disabled people according to the severely disabled pass
• Refugees who can prove their status as refugees with a document from the immigration authorities
• Members of the Bundesverband Bildender Künstlerinnen und Künstler (BBK) from Bonn and the surrounding area
• Artists who have exhibited at the Kunstmuseum
• Donors and patrons of the Kunstmuseum
• Sponsors on the basis of a sponsorship agreement
• Members of the Friends of the Kunstmuseum Bonn e.V.
• Members of the working group of the Kunstmuseum Bonn
• Members of ICOM, the German Museums Association and the IAA
• Holders of vouchers from the City of Bonn
• Holders of the Art Card of the Bundeskunsthalle
• Holders of press passes (journalists in the context of media coverage)

Marketing and acquisition
Under marketing aspects or if this is in the special interest of the museum in individual cases, certain target groups, multipliers or individuals (e.g. potential donors or lenders) may be granted a one-day free ticket or a reduced fee for an education and outreach offer on a one-off basis or as part of temporary advertising campaigns. The discount can be up to 75 percent of the applicable rate.

Exhibition-related fee increases

The fees in accordance with tariffs 1.1 and 1.2 can be temporarily increased by up to twice the basic tariff

• for exhibitions of outstanding importance in terms of type and content and above-average public appeal
• for exhibitions that require above-average operating costs to realize and for whose overall financing it is necessary to generate higher income.

Annual tickets remain valid for such exhibitions without additional payment.
