Dear people of Bonn, dear guests of our city,
As Mayor of Bonn, my motto is: Think globally and act locally.
As a federal city and the German seat of the United Nations, Bonn has a special significance for the major challenges of our time.
I am convinced that we can only successfully combat the climate crisis locally. Will we manage the transport transition, will we make the city even more liveable and attractive and will Bonn remain a city of courage and solidarity? This future will be decided here on the ground.
Together with the people of Bonn, I want to make the right decisions for the development of our city. This depends on each and every individual. Bonn is colorful and diverse. That is why I am calling on you: Get involved and help shape the future!
