First, the manhole covers and street drains are replaced using the open trench method. The sewer will then be rehabilitated trenchlessly by inserting a pipe liner. The construction work is expected to be completed by the end of June 2025. There may be delays due to bad weather. The total cost of the construction project is around 100,000 euros.

There will be traffic disruptions during the work, as Frechengasse will have to be fully closed in the construction site area. Residents can drive up to the construction site. Detour for road traffic will be signposted. The sidewalks will remain free. Access for the fire department, emergency services and refuse collection will be ensured during the entire construction period.
