The white villa overlooking the Rhine has been the Bonn seat of the Federal President since 1950. Visitors can gain special insights into the house and the surrounding park on the guided tour "In the footsteps of the Bonn Republic", which the Bonn-Information has been offering exclusively for many years.

Tickets for the guided tour cost 15 euros, concessions 10 euros and can only be purchased directly from Bonn-Information. Online ticket sales are not possible for this tour, as all participants must register by providing personal details. This information will be checked by the Federal Criminal Police Office before the tour.

For the month of May, Bonn-Information was able to arrange two dates for guided tours with the Office of the Federal President. Tickets are still available for Thursday, May 15, 2025, and Friday, May 16, 2025. The tours start at 1 p.m., meeting point is at the main entrance of Villa Hammerschmidt, Adenauerallee 135. Interested guests can register directly at the Bonn-Information on site, by phone on 0228 - 77 50 00 or by e-mail to bonninformation@bonn.de. The booking deadline is two weeks before the tour, i.e. by April 30, 2025 at the latest.
